L.A. vs. War was a recent anti-war art festival in Los Angeles. This poster represented some of its sharper combination of graphics and politics. In Los Angeles, where the true face of local government is Democratic Party local officials whose public face is continuous police expansion, represented by the helicopter, but whose private commitments are to untrammeled real estate investment, shown by the high rise office buildings, the poster could not be more accurate.
